The war in Ukraine continues to take a devastating toll, especially on women and children.

Since February 2024, 2 years since the start of the conflict, the displacement of Ukrainians has reached a staggering scale: nearly 1 out of 10 Ukrainians have fled the country. This represents more than 15% of the country's population, a number exceeding the combined populations of Los Angeles and Chicago.​

Recent attacks have led to record civilian casualties and growing deprivation for children. This crisis is fueled by relentless strikes on critical infrastructure, including water, sanitation, and energy systems, as well as homes, schools, and healthcare facilities. Compounding the tragedy is the widespread rise in poverty.
