Afghanistan Humanitarian Crisis
The need in Afghanistan is overwhelming and continues to grow. As conflict escalated in 2021 and families fled their homes for safety, millions are running out of food. On top of that, a powerful earthquake struck in southeast Afghanistan and has killed hundreds of people and injured many more. The humanitarian crisis continues to grow and it is estimated at least one million children will suffer from severe acute malnutrition and could die. CARE has been working in Afghanistan since 1961 and is committed to helping with lifesaving support. Please give now support displaced Afghan families and those in crisis.
