Tell Congress: Stand Up for Girls in Emergencies

UPDATE: More than 17 million girls have been displaced by violence and emergencies.

Crises around the globe continue to exacerbate hunger, displacement, disease and violence – particularly against women and girls. This year alone, more than 137 million people will rely on humanitarian assistance to meet their most basic needs.

The United States is the global leader when it comes to humanitarian assistance because it's reflective of our core values – compassion, dignity and hope.

The need for U.S. leadership has never been greater – aid alone cannot eliminate suffering globally. Tell your members of Congress to speak out and urge the Administration to unequivocally respond to and address the root causes of conflict and humanitarian crises, and protect the most vulnerable people, including women and girls.
