Together, we can make our voices heard!

Violence against women and girls is a pervasive human rights violation.

Worldwide, approximately one out of every three women worldwide will be beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused in her lifetime.

The International Violence Against Women Act (IVAWA) is a landmark, bipartisan piece of legislation that would create, for the first time in U.S. history, a comprehensive strategy across our foreign assistance programs to help prevent and address violence against women and girls.

Please call your members of Congress today and ask them to co-sponsor IVAWA.
